Stuart Kupers' personal credits include 6 years (1989 to 1995) as the guitarist, bass player and composer for Mammoth/Atlantic Records recording artists Machines of Loving Grace, a band he created and founded. The band's accomplishments include the creation of two albums, several single releases and critical acclaim in international music publications. The single "Golgatha Tenement Blues" was part of the double-platinum motion picture soundtrack album for Miramax-Dimension's 1994 feature film “The Crow”. The song "Weatherman" was used in Academy Entertainment's 1993 feature film "Quick". Machines of Loving Grace had 3 music videos featured on MTV. The band's music was also used on MTV's "The Real World", "MTV Sports", on CBS Television's “Due South” and on performances on "Extra" and “Entertainment Tonight”. Stuart Kupers has shared his knowledge and experience with many before becoming a professional teacher. He now teaches beginning and intermediate guitar as well as bass guitar to students that want to develop their musical talents. His teaching style can be qualified as casual and fun. He teaches basic techniques as well as chords and can have students playing their favorite rock, alternative rock and folk songs quickly. He emphasizes listening and playing by ear. He customizes the lessons to teach each student what he or she wants to learn.
